what a tribute!!! thank you so much my dear - it brought tears to my eyes and smiles and laughter as well - and yes, I hope to do it all over again at 90! (and how many grandmothers do you know who are spending their winter far from home in sunny Tucson with their very special guy!

Dear Bram, I so look forward to hearing in person about your great adventures - one of these days when you get ready to tell/write the story - I want to be there (so long as I don't have to climb a mountain to get there - becoming 80 this December 15 carries some privileges like how about a nice warm restaurant in Tucson - my treat! If you change your mind and want to join us all in Tucson 12/16-17-18-19 we would love to make you the main attraction and hear about your adventures. My treat to have you with us - air fare - lodging - but I understand your great adventure is still a work in progress - but a bit of time off in the beautiful Sonoran Desert (home of the giant Saguaro cactus)just basking in the sunshine and dodging rattlers might be a nice diversion - plus you could ride a horse instead of having to use your own muscle power. Hugs Grandma

Dear Bram - Sorry we won't have the fun of being with you at my family gathering for my 80th birthday in Tucson on December 17-18 at a dude ranch - but we will look forward to hearing about all your adventures via your mom and brother - any chance you have some film we could look at while we feast to get a sense of your wonderful adventures and feel your presence? I'll talk with your mom and see how we can have you present with us at least in spirit and photos!
hugs

Bram - where have you been hiding your writing skills?! That's amazing stuff. I mean, the actual story *and* the way you shared it. Keep it up!
